16 and under MVP: Josh Smith – Squash All Beef (DC) - A 6’3” junior, Smith did a little bit of everything, and did it well: One possession Smith would come down and pound the rim, the next hit a jump shot, the next find an open teammate, while following that up with a steal, rebound, or blocked shot. And he did it all, effortlessly. He’s still the best kept secret, in D.C.
16 and Under All Stars:
1) Timmone Whatley – MD Bulls – Incoming
freshman guard can get to the rack, and competes, while standing around
6’2”.
2) Percy Woods – Squash All Beef – Slender
junior 5’9” guard loves to race up and down the floor, letting
that long distance jumper fly.

5’10” guard can do it all.
4) Darren Warren – Triple Threat – All around

15/14 and under MVP: Duvaughan Maxwell – PW Bulls (VA); 15u – A sophomore forward, Maxwell punished the rims all tourney long, whether in half court or fast break settings. At around 6’5” and having length, Maxwell is a star in the making.
15/14 and Under All Stars:
1) Cahli Thomas – Triple Threat; 15u – All
around guard freshman, 6’0” guard can make it happen in half
and full court situations.
2) Joe Daye – Hoop Magic; 14u – Freshman
guard who stands six feet, proved he is capable of playing both guard
positions.
3) Denzell Walker - Team Melo; 14u – Strong 6’1”
guard can defend and score
4) Ronald Williams – Team Melo; 14u – As
freshman, is a floor leader extraordinaire, that penetrates and finds
teammates.

5) Jared Jones – Team Melo; 14u – 6’4”+
forward, is long, has good fundamentals, and seems to know the game.
6) Travon Leonard – D-One Sports, 15u – Big
(6’7”) freshman center has good shooting touch.
7) Jared Brown – D-One Sports, 15u – Sophomore
who stands 6’1”, is athletic and has good all around guard
skills.
