Bulldogs use youth and vets to dismantle a Marine select squad.
November 8, 2009 - It's that time for college basketball, and Bowie State is no exception; the Bulldogs hosted Quantico (Marines), and showed the visitors no mercy, pounding them 93-57 before a solid home crowd tonight. The team's coach, Darrell Brooks, lauded his team's second half play, but chided them for inattentive first half action. Following is a pictorial:
Sophomore Travis Hyman bangs down low. The game was as to be expected, physical.
Charles Richardson, here dealing down low, lead Bowie with 19 points.
Head Coach Darrell Brooks patrols the sidelines.
Keith Thomas, a freshman, came in and stabalized his team during the wild and wholly late second half. He supplied 9 points.
Andrew Engel, a senior, was offensively aggressive.
Dom Milburn, a freshman, dropped 10 points shooting and driving.
A Marine officially logged as 'Nathan' drives between Thomas (1) and Milburn. He led Quantico with 12 points.
