August 16, 2007 - While the AAU/travel team season is winding down, a final opportunity for high level 'bump' will be provided in late September by Carlton "Bubb" Carrington, the longtime Mt. Royal/Team Melo youth hoops coach.

The dates are September 21st - 23rd. The site, Maryland's Comcast Center, allows all the games to happen under one roof, a rarity in today's travel team world.

According to Carrington, the event will allow competitors and the public "to see some of the top 2009 talent in the area", as organizations such as the "Delaware Titans, Delaware Sharpshooters, DC Assault, Team Melo (MD), Triple Threat (DC), Boo Williams (VA)" and Baltimore Stars (MD) have all committed to attend.

Those teams alone boast such ballers as Isaiah Philmore, Wally Judge, Andrew Fitzgerald, Mo Creek, Kendall Marshall, Isaiah Arwood, Terrell Vinson, and a host of others.

The brackets will include 24 teams in the 17 and under, division, 16 squads competing in 16 and under play, and eight teams battling for the 15 and under crown.

All of the slots have not been accounted for this three game guarantee event, that costs $400 per team entry. All interested parties, should contact Carrington at 410.905. 8310, or CarltonCarrington@tmail.com.

Don't miss out, it's the perfect opportunity - and possibly the last - to once again view talented players, before the high school season begins.

Be there. We definitely will.
