Free Football Camp Set for June 28th in PG

Football instruction, free of charge, will be in Landover, MD.

June 4, 2010 – The Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex has become a foundation of sorts in the suburb directly east of Washington, DC, hosting events ranging from national level track meets to those as mundane as swimming lessons for tots and workout classes for all. If it's related to fitness/sports, you can probably that activity occuring at some time on the SLC's 80 acre complex in Landover, MD (8001 Sheriff Road to be exact).

June 28th, 2010 marks yet another offering; a free one day football camp hosted by DTLR, featuring NFL standouts Darnell Dockett (defensive lineman, Arizona Cardinals) and Vsianthe Shiancoe (tight end, Minnesota Viking). Both have local ties; Dockett is a high school All-American from Montgomery County, MD, and Shancoe had a standout collegiate career at Baltimore's Morgan State University while also hailing from MoCo.

Registration starts at 8a on the 28th, with the camp lasting from 9a - 3p. Players in grades 8 through 12 are invited to participate.
