Second Team

Talib Zanna, 6’8”junior forward/center, McNamara: Big man can pound rims and has shooting touch. Developing back to the basket game.

Maurice Creek, 6’4” junior swingman, South Kent: Despite new role at new school, Creek still gives you multiple inputs, including shooting, defending, rebounding and passing. Is learning how to play with talent night in and night out.

Talib Zanna with Keith Stevens

David Golladay, 6’3” junior swingman, Wise: Athletic slasher who can defend multiple positions. Long and mid-range jumper is improving.

Brandon Greene, 6’5” senior forward, Towson Catholic: Plays bigger than height in post. Outside game coming along.

Sean Mosley – 6’4” senior swingman, St. Frances: First team talent that is on second unit due to having to nurture younger teammates, thereby not concentrating on his numbers. Headed to the University of Maryland, where his improving outside touch and legendary toughness will come in handy.

David Golladay

Kendall Marshall, 6’3” sophomore guard, O’Connell: Heady lefty likes to can open jumpers, increasingly off the bounce. Can also slip into the lane for layups. When he arrives at North Carolina in two years, work on quickness and off-hand should be evident.

Kris Joseph, 6’8” senior swingman, Carroll: Possesses multiple skills in a big package. The future Syracuse University student-athlete must remain assertive at all times, a self-recognized point of improvement. Joseph’s work on it is becoming obvious.

Josh Selby, 6’3” sophomore guard, DeMatha: Possessing a will to win that can’t be extinguished, Selby is proving equally adept at scoring and rebounding at DeMatha. Has been integrating his game into the team concept, and as such is showing he’s much more than a high numbers man- he’s becoming a leader.

Josh Selby at the line.

Adrian Mills, 6’3” senior guard, Paul VI: A scorer, Mills gets it done on the perimeter and by driving. Is presently a combo guard, who would be well served by becoming more of a point guard for college.

Honorable Mention

Marc Hill (10) and Rashad Whack
