September 10, 2007 – As a rule, i95Ballerz.com makes it a habit of supporting hoops related events that benefit not only their organizers, but most importantly their planned participants/subjects. To date, that has included tournaments and fundraising efforts.

Hoop Magic, the top-level sports training facility in Chantilly, VA, owned by Curtis Symonds has added another form of event to the list; the basketball expo.

What is a roundball expo? Basically, expect a fun filled nine hour affair, with games, contests, speakers, and giveaways, designed for patrons of all ages.

“We will be having different high school and NCAA coaches giving demonstrations and lecturing” elaborated Arize Ifejika, Hoop Magic’s Tournament Director. Add face painting, a beat the staff member contest, video game challenges, and as well as a surprise visit from a future ACC student athlete, from the Washington-Baltimore area.

Always socially and civically aware, there will also be donation basket and moment of silence for Airrion Kenneth Ali Johnson, who senselessly lost his life as the result of gunplay – accidental as it was - in Northwest, Washington, DC. It is hoped the loss his death creates will preclude similar occurrences in the future.

Hoop Magic Basketball Expo specifics follow:

Date: September 15-16, 2007
Time: 11am – 8pm
Site: Hoop Magic Sports Academy, 14810 Murdock Street, Chantilly, VA 20151
Damage: $1
Point/Contact Person: Arize Ifejika – 703.635.5431 – Arize@HoopMagicsa.com

For a buck, the Basketball Expo will be D.C. – B’Mo’s number one family-centered event this upcoming weekend.

Come on out and join the fun.
