October 16, 2008 – Hoop Magic Sports Academy has positioned itself as one of the East Coast’s premier youth hoops venues, with events ranging from AAU/travel team confabs to high school tourneys constantly being presented. The proverbial ball never stops bouncing at the state of the art facility located in Chantilly, VA.

The latest is this weekend’s Hoop Magic Fall Jamboree, a mixed tournament boasting not only high school and travel teams, but varsity and junior varsity competitors from Virginia, Maryland and the District, as well. Action starts early Saturday, concluding Sunday with championship rounds. All pertinent information, including teams, schedule, and cost is available at www.HoopMagicsa.com.

Curtis Symonds, Hoop Magic’s CEO and founder is happy with not only the Jamboree, but his facility’s overall ascendance. “I think we put together a good high school tournament, based on the climate” said the sports management and finance professional early this morning. “We’ve tried to grow awareness of Hoop Magic…the numbers (interest in the Jamboree) have grown since last year. We are getting very good response”.

According to Symonds, the interest is being received “across the board now. We are getting Northern Virginia considered (as a hoops entity) after two and a half years”.

Expect that work to continue, with this weekend’s Hoop Jamboree another example
