Open scrimmage illustrates growth and newcomers for Maryland

October 29, 2009 – Last Saturday the University of Maryland held an intersquad scrimmage, open to the public. The opportunity to view it was significant, as the growth of returning players can be viewed, in addition to assessing what the newcomers may offer.

If you missed it, another chance presents itself Saturday, October 31st, at 1pm. The site will again be school's Comcast Center.

Eenjoy last week's pictorial:

Hall of Famer Gary Williams works the refs - even in scrimmages. It's what coaches do.

Grevis Vasquez will be this team's leader. Without question.

Though it didn't count, Maryland's players competed. Hard.

Sean Mosely should factor greatly for the Terps this year.

Jin Soo Choi has worked on his ball patting and strength.

Adrian Bowie should play both guard positions this year.

Rookie James Padgett is a tough player who should provide spark off the pine.

Mosely can play both the two (SG) and three (SF) in Maryland's flex offense.

Assistant coach Keith Booth plotting on the sideline.
