A good chance to get looks is here, Sunday.
<b>May 1, 2011>/b> - The Washington DC and Baltimore areas are chock full of talented young men who hoop. Unfortunately, some for various reasons, don't get seen by coaches. It could be due to personal issues, academic inconsistency or lack of promotion. Whatever the reason, talent just stays on the street, never reaching any level of post high school. Well, Chris Flegler and his non-profit, Out of the City and Into School was in part started to stem that tide. Enter its second annual Unsigned Senior/JUCO Exposure Camp.
"We designed the camp to assist unsigned high school. seniors and current junior college payers obtain scholarships" said Flegler, an assistant coach at St. Mary's College and 17u coach with Team Interhigh. "The goal is for them to further both their athletic and most importantly academic careers". This year's event takes place Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Richard England Boy's and Girls Club, 4103 Benning Road, Northeast Washington, DC 20019. Time is Noon to 4pm. If you are either an unsigned high school senior/graduate or in junior college and want to continue your educational and academic career, be there!
