Following the success of the Spotlight Training Camp in 2006, the Headliner
Tryout Camps will expand into 18 locations and provide a gateway for participation
into Rbk U, Rbk Breakout Underclass Camp and the Proving Ground Regional
Combine. A proper balance between full court exposure games and individual
assessment stations will allow players multiple outlets to display their
skills during the Headliner Tryout Camps. For director’s contact

Rbk Breakout Underclass Camp
Rbk Breakout Underclass Camp will fill the void left by Camp Next and
will feature 120 of the nation’s most promising rising sophomores
and rising juniors. Players will participate in two days of intense individual
skill development, physical conditioning and competitive full court games.
This event was created to push the mental toughness of each player to
new limits while inspiring a new passion to play, and respect for all
aspects of the game. Eighty players nationwide will earn invitations through
the Headliner Tryout Camp system with five outstanding players earning
invites to Rbk U.
Rbk U
July 6-10, Philadelphia, PA
With the elimination of Nike Camp and the adidas Superstar Camp, Rbk U
will be the country’s only traditional invitational All-American
Camp during the July evaluation period. Only 120 players nationwide will
earn invitations. A national selection committee will select the first
65 invites while the remaining 50 players will earn invites through participation
in the Headliner Tryout Camps.
Proving Ground Regional Combine, July 7-8 National
Seattle, WA, Oakland, CA, Chicago, IL, Greensboro,
NC, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL,
Boston, MA, Akron, OH, Jackson, MS
Created to provide exposure opportunities for rising seniors, juniors
and sophomores that have achieved regional accolades yet are still seeking
national recognition and increased scholarship opportunities. The Proving
Ground Regional Combine will be an invitation only event selecting 80
players per region to showcase their talent during the NCAA July evaluation
period. Five players from each Headliner Tryout Camp will earn invitations
to the Proving Ground Regional Combine.
Reebok Summer Championships
July 22-26, Las Vegas, NV
With the top travel and club teams from across the U.S. and several other
nations expected, the inaugural Reebok Summer Championships has been announced
for Las Vegas. The nation’s newest and largest boy’s open
division summer basketball tournament will be held July 22-26 on 16 courts
at eight different venues. The opening two days of tournament pool play
will again include RBK Premier Matchups, where each of the top 8 seeds
will play three others in the illustrious group with all of the RBK Premier
Matchups being held at Foothill HS.
