SFS has put together a keeper.

 

December 1, 2011 – Tomorrow the little school on Wisconsin Avenue, WDC, known for a high level of academics and attracting the children of dignitaries continues a nine year trend; the Sidwell Friends Invitational Tournament begins.

Slated for Friday – Sunday, the SF Invitational boasts both boys and girls action, with the school’s state of the Athletic Center hosting play. From a boy’s perspective, SFS, Carroll (DC), Teddy Roosevelt (DC), Wilson (DC), Heights (DC) and Palotti (MD) strap up. Girls teams Wilson, National Cathedral (DC), Maret (DC), Calverton (MD) and Georgetown Day (DC) battle.
