Temperament Sports Classic to Provide Exposure this Weekend

Unknowns and the well regarded will all receive exposure this weekend.

December 29, 2009 - Exposure is key for the attainment of college scholarships; without it, many a talented player would not have been afforded the opportunity to compete on the hardwood in college. To that end, Temperament Sports brings its Holiday Classic.

"We just wanted to promote some of the local high school talent" shared Temperament official and long time AAU/travel team basketball coach, Zach Suber today. "The thing is some of these schools don't get as much publicity as the WCAC schools...We wanted to promote some of the talent other than the private sector".

Torre Sommerville leads Northewstern in T.S. Holiday Classic play.

The Holiday Classic occurs Saturday. Game times and participating schools are below:

Spingarn (DC) vs Northwestern (MD) Noon

Chavez (DC) vs Riverdale Baptist (MD) 2p

Krestel Heights (NC) vs Progressive Christian (MD) 4p

Eleanor Roosevelt (MD) vs Douglas (MD) 6p

Cost is $10.00 per adult, $5.00 for each student/child. Concessions will be available throughout. Place is Riverdale Baptist School (Upper Marlboro, MD).
