Hoops in Oxon Hill – 1st Annual Triple Threat Shootout Promises Great Action

May 18, 2006 – This weekend, D.C. area AAU hoop junkies don’t have to travel far for a fix, as the 1st Annual Triple Threat Shootout will provide just that, in Oxon Hill, MD.

To be held at Oxon Hill High School Saturday May 20th- Sunday the 21st, the Shootout boasts teams from D.C., B’more, Philly, Jersey, and the great state of PA. Saturday’s schedule is as follows:

12 pm – Team Melo vs. Mobley All-Stars – Court 2
12 pm – Team Melo 16's vs. Monmouth Power 16's – Court 3

1:30 pm – Monmouth Power vs. Triple Threat – Court 1
1:30 pm – Mainstream 16's vs. Triple Threat 16's – Court 2
1:30 pm – Cutino Mobley 16's vs. PAL/DE 16's – Court 3

3 pm – Cutino Mobley All-Stars vs. MD Hurricanes – Court 1
3 pm – Team Melo vs. South Jersey Jets – Court 2
3 pm – South Jersey Jets 16's vs. MD Hurricanes 16's – Court 3

4:30 pm – PAL/DE vs. Triple Threat – Court 1
4:30 pm – PAL/DE 16's vs. Monmouth Power 16's – Court 2
4:30 pm – Mainstream 16's vs. Cutino Mobley 16's – Court 3

6 pm – Monmouth Power vs. Cutino Mobley All-Stars – Court 1
6 pm – South Jersey Jets 16's vs. Triple Threat 16's – Court 2
6 pm – PAL/DE 16's vs. MD Hurricanes – Court 3

7:30 pm – South Jersey Jets vs. Pal/DE – Court 1
7:30 pm – Triple Threat 15's vs. Triple Threat 15's – Court 2
7:30 pm – South Jersey Jets 16's vs. Cutino Mobley All-Stars 16's – Court 3

The playoffs will be held Sunday, with action starting at 10 am, and the championship games kicking off at 3 pm.
