Early Travel Team Tourney Provides Chance to See Talent.

March 19, 2009 – DC Assault showed and proved last year with their Take Your Best Shot (TYBS) event, as many stars of tomorrow, including Wally Judge, Moph Yarou, Rodney McGruder, Josh Hairston and a slew of others competed; for the record, those players will attend Kansas State, Villanova, Kansas State and Duke (2010), respectively. ( 2008 event All-Tourney teams are here).

Well, TYBS is back April 10-12, and to everybody's benefit slots are available for interested teams. Check out www.dcassaultinc.com for details.

Assault's 17u squad took that age group's chip last year.

According to Damon Handon, Assault's General Manager, in addition to the teams/organizations listed on the link above, the likes of the New England Playaz and New York's New Heights have also enrolled.

Why does Assault produce TYBS?

"We do it to get kids exposure" said Handon. "Not just our kids, because they are going to be seen. I'm talking about young people from other organizations, the ones that don't get invited to all the top events like us.

Through Take Your Best Shot, we give them an opportunity to not only be seen by websites like i95Ballerz.com, but to compete against us too".

There you have it. If you have a team, commit to playing in TYBS. For those who simply want to see the college (and possibly a few pro) stars of tomorrow, come to Hoop Magic Sports Academy, April 10-12.

It will be well worth it for all involved.
